Germany has firmly established itself as one of the biggest legal markets in Europe with national and international players competing for dominance across key sectors, from energy to financial services, and corporate to private clients.
The Legal 500 has long taken a keen interest in this robust yet dynamic market, expressed not least by the launch of a stand-alone Deutschland guide in 2014. One decade on, we are excited to present to you the second edition of our German Legal Awards.
These awards will recognise the lawyers, law firms and in-house legal departments setting the pace across the Federal Republic, celebrating their recent achievements and broadcasting this success to a global audience.
The shortlists and winners have been determined based on The Legal 500’s market-leading independent research for the annual The Legal 500 Deutschland guide. Winners will be selected by a judging team spearheaded by The Legal 500 Deutschland senior editor Anna Bauböck and co-editors Kathrin Zuser and Clara Mozes, and including the efforts of all of the in-house and freelance researchers whose in-depth knowledge and understanding went into the authoritative Germany practice rankings.
