Pranav Sharma, partner, Banking and Finance practice, Trilegal
Pranav Sharma is a Partner in the Banking and Finance practice at Trilegal. Pranav specialises in banking and finance and debt capital markets, and has 20 years of extensive experience in these areas. Aside from acting for leading banks and financial institutions and other credit providers on all forms of onshore and offshore financings, Pranav regularly represents sponsors and borrowers on such financings. He has advised a wide range of multilateral, bilateral, government agencies, state-owned enterprises and leading companies across a vast spectrum of financing, in India and abroad.
Pranav has wide-ranging expertise in transactions ranging from commodity or receivables-backed financing, ECA back financing, acquisition financing, and structured and trade financing. His practice is focused on lending transactions in emerging markets covering Eastern Europe, Turkey and Africa, besides India.
He has acted for lenders (both domestic and foreign) as well as sponsors and project companies on project financing for several successfully concluded and ongoing projects in the roads and highways, power, telecom, hotel and steel sectors.
Prior to joining Trilegal, he worked with a leading Indian law firm and was a Managing Associate at a well-known banking group in London. He is qualified in both Indian and English law.
