Event information
Despite attempts to curb money laundering, recalcitrant debtors and fraudsters still have multiple avenues to hide stolen assets. This is exacerbated by the frequency with which frauds on large institutions have a cyber element (either as a means to affect the fraud or in order to frustrate subsequent asset tracing).
Understanding the international tools at your disposal to aid enforcement and asset recovery is critical. These same tools are also fundamental to understanding and combatting other fraudulent behaviour including the theft of confidential information and trade secrets.
This breakfast seminar will look at practical examples of where interim injunctions and disclosure orders have been used to support enforcement and combat fraud.
