Event information
Organisations are increasingly exposed to the risk of disputes, driven by rapid technological advancements, shifting ESG priorities, and disruptions in supply chains. These challenges require a sharper focus on risk management and compliance to safeguard stability and resilience.
For General Counsel and In-House Counsel in the Asia-Pacific region, the complexities are heightened by digital transformation and the legal intricacies of operating across multiple jurisdictions, amongst others. Successfully navigating this landscape demands a balance of global perspective and deep local knowledge.
The Legal 500’s Asia-Pacific Disputes Summit will bring together General Counsel and leading disputes practitioners from across the region for a day of in-depth discussions. The agenda will explore the evolving role of General Counsel during periods of global volatility, the challenges of selecting appropriate arbitration forums, and the integration of ESG considerations into dispute resolution strategies.
The summit will also examine disputes arising from greenwashing and climate risk disclosures, the transformative potential of technology in managing disputes, and practical approaches to crisis management and third-party funding. Additionally, it will consider the unique risks and responsibilities boards face when handling internal and external investigations.
Attendees can look forward to expert insights from experienced speakers, meaningful opportunities to share perspectives, and a networking reception to close the event.
