ZHAO Jiming, senior partner of W&H Law Firm, director of W&H’s National Company Law professional Committee. Mr. Zhao is currently a member of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate’s Expert Committee on Civil Administrative Litigation Supervision Cases, a member of the China Law Conference and Law Research Institute, a member of the Company Law Committee of All China Lawyers Association, and a director of the Merger and Reorganization Committee of Beijing Lawyers Association. Tianfu Liu is the Vice President, Corporate Strategies and Chief Counsel, Asia Pacific for Cabot Corporation, a leading global specialty chemicals and performance materials company headquartered in Boston, MA. Tianfu has been with Cabot since 2010. Prior to Cabot, Tianfu practiced briefly with MoFo in its then newly established Shanghai office, and subsequently became a senior attorney in the Shanghai office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, specializing in cross border mergers and acquisitions, securities and foreign direct investment, with a focus on assisting multinational investors in the financial services and real estate sectors in their establishment or expansion in China.

In 2010, Tianfu joined Cabot as its China GC. His role at Cabot was subsequently expanded in 2015 to cover the entire Asia Pacific, and in 2019 to cover Cabot’s global Reinforcement Materials Segment, its largest business division operating in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, the Czech Republic, France, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands and the US.

Dr Chenyang Xie, vice president and chief legal officer, Foxconn Industrial Internet

Chenyang Xie holds a Doctor of Juridical Science from Pennsylvania State University and currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of Foxconn Industrial Internet Co., Ltd. Prior to Foxconn, Dr. Xie held leadership positions at GCL Group Co.,Ltd, including General Counsel.

Dr. Xie also actively contributes to the legal community beyond his corporate role. He is an expert member of ICC (International Chamber of Commerce), vice president of China Patent Protection Association, director of Institute of Securities Law of CLS, arbitrator of Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, invited tutor of East China University of Political Science and Law, and Shenzhen University. He also serves the society as a director of the China Trademark Association, Deputy Director of International Investment and Trade Committee of Capital Lawyers Association, Arbitrator of Tianjin Arbitration Commission, part-time researcher of Southwest University of Political Science and Law.

Ivy serves as the Head of Legal, Greater China for DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC), a Fortune 500 global IT services leader, which was formed by the merger of Enterprise Services business of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) in 2017. DXC has more than 130,000 employees in 70+ countries.

Ivy joined DXC from 2018 and sits in the board and the leadership of DXC Greater China. Prior to DXC, Ivy started the career in law firm and later moved to senior legal positions in multinational companies including Pearson, Bentley Systems and Thomson Reuters.
