Event Report
The Legal 500 partnered with the firms Clifford Chance, Busse Disputes, Manner Spangenberg and Noerr as well as legal software solutions provider Tikit to host the inaugural Commercial Arbitration Summit Germany in Frankfurt on 12th February 2020.
With so many of the country’s leading in-house lawyers joining us at this half-day summit at the Jumeirah in Frankfurt, the event underscored the importance of arbitration as dispute resolution mechanism for international businesses and their advisers. Undoubtedly arbitration remains an attractive choice for dispute resolution in Germany, and the country is steadily gaining in importance as a place for arbitration.
With The Legal 500’s goal of bringing in-house lawyers together to share experiences and exchange ideas, we convened a summit which addressed a broad range of questions in the arbitration sphere – from the most basic to the more technical. Challenges were examined, solutions were presented and many discussions were sparked not only among our panellists but also our audience.
The Legal 500 would like to thank all those who attended, our sponsors, our expert moderators and our panelists, whose insights made this event into such a valuable experience for all attendees. A special thanks also goes to our steering committee for its crucial contribution to our programme.
