On October 18, the Legal 500 hosted an exclusive roundtable for the in-house community in Dubai at the magnificent Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Blvd business centre on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s New Civil Transactions Law, which is expected to go into effect in December 2023.

The meeting was attended by several of the most significant in-house counsel of large corporations in their respective areas. In-house lawyers from the energy industry, luxury brands, pharmaceuticals, retail, and banking, among others, spoke about the new law, its consequences, and the potential it would bring to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
