The Legal 500, in partnership with CERHA HEMPEL, have the honour to release a first-of-its kind edition of The Legal 500’s GC Powerlist: Austria Teams 2023, which highlights some of the country’s leading in-house legal teams at CERHA HEMPEL’s offices in Vienna.

Austria’s in-house counsel encountered new challenges and navigated an ever-changing and demanding business environment. One of the most prevalent challenges has been ensuring compliance with increasing regulations. Some other challenges included digitalisation and implementation of technology across the departments and the management of teams spread across several jurisdictions due to remote work settings resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic. The in-house legal teams highlighted in this year’s GC Powerlist: Austria Teams 2023 all deserve recognition for utilising their legal knowledge to positively impact their respective organisations successes over the past year.
