The Legal 500 was thrilled to host the launch of the third edition of the GC Powerlist: Dominican Republic 2024 in Santo Domingo, in collaboration with partners Pellerano & Herrera. Held at the elegant Marriott Hotel Piantini on September 18th, the event drew a full house, marking it as a resounding success.

In her opening remarks, Sara Maggi, Deputy Editor of The Legal 500 GC Powerlist Series, extended her congratulations to those featured in this edition of the Powerlist. She also highlighted key research trends concerning ESG, legal tech, diversity and inclusion, and mental health in the workplace.

Ricardo Pellerano, Managing Partner at Pellerano & Herrera, expressed his pride in celebrating the country’s top general counsel, emphasising their pivotal role in driving corporate transformation and attracting foreign investment to the Dominican Republic.

Yudith Castillo, Legal Director at Punta Cana, shared valuable insights from an in-house perspective, underscoring the significance of gatherings that unite the in-house community and enhance the impact of their work within the legal sector.
