The Legal 500 GC Powerlist Italy 2024 event was a resounding success, drawing a full house of Italy’s leading in-house counsel. Held on Thursday, September 26th, at the Grand Hotel ET de Milan, this year’s event was proudly hosted in partnership with Deloitte Legal.

Sara Maggi, Deputy Editor of The Legal 500 GC Powerlist Series, opened the evening by expressing the team’s pride in fostering connections within Italy’s talented in-house community.

Next, Carlo Gagliardi, Managing Partner at Deloitte Legal, took the stage to congratulate Italy’s exceptional in-house lawyers. He emphasised the critical role they play in their companies’ success and the necessity of recognising their contributions.

Simona Musso, Group General Counsel at Lavazza, provided valuable insights from an in-house perspective, discussing the key challenges Italian general counsel will face in the coming years, including digitalisation, regulatory shifts, and compliance demands.
