The GC Powerlist event in Mexico City 2023 celebrated the remarkable GCs of Mexico, recognising their commitment, hard work, and innovative drive in the legal profession. In-depth interviews previously conducted by The Legal 500 revealed a strong GC focus on ESG, Diversity and Inclusion, and nearshoring. Furthermore, they highlighted how essential teamwork is for the legal departments to achieve the best outcomes.  The event took place at the Ritz Carlton, overlooking the stunning castle of Chapultepec.  GCs were awarded for their exceptional dedication to integrating strong ethical principles, fostering diversity, and implementing strategies within their organisations. The atmosphere at the GC Powerlist event was buzzing with lively discussions with passionate GCs engaged in dynamic conversations. The excitement was palpable as attendees shared their experiences, insights, and innovative approaches to the evolving legal landscape. The vibrant interactions and animated debates showcased the shared commitment of the GCs to push the boundaries of legal practice and adapt to the ever-changing demands of their roles.
