The fabulous Look Up Rooftop Bar in Dubai played host to GC Powerlist Middle East 2023. With spectacular views of the Burj Khalifa and the glistening backdrop of the city lights, GCs from across the GCC region mingled together to celebrate the launch of this year’s list.

Over 100 guests enjoyed a wonderful evening of networking and celebration thanks to the support of our headline sponsors, Eversheds Sutherland and our associate sponsors, Fichte & Co and Taylor Root.

During the evening we heard from Gurpartap Basra, Head of GC Powerlist Series at The Legal 500; Nassar Ali Khasawneh, Chairman of the Middle East at Eversheds Sutherland; Dr Laura Vida, Partner at Fichte & Co and Mark Anderson, Director of Middle East and Africa at Taylor Root. All expressed their heartfelt congratulations to the successful group of in-house lawyers who were recognised on this year’s list.

Representing the thoughts of the GC community, on-the-spot interviews with Yasser Abosimail at Schindler Group, Fiona Robertson at OSN, Santiago Lucero at PwC and Racha Lucero at Dubai Finanial Marker and Nasdaq Dubai added a spot of unexpected fun to the evening.
