Event Report

On August 17th 2023, The Legal 500 convened with great enthusiasm in the vibrant city of Lima for the launch event of the GC Powerlist: Peru 2023. This event took place at the prestigious Hilton Hotel Miraflores, where esteemed legal counsel in the country came together to celebrate their achievements.

Returning to Lima was a true delight. In collaboration with our long-term partner Estudio Muñiz, who has been a steadfast supporter of The Legal 500 GC Powerlist Peru. Our warm welcome was initiated by Sara Maggi, deputy editor of The Legal 500 GC Powerlist Series, who set the tone for the evening. Jorge Muñiz, managing partner of Estudio Muñiz, followed with his address, highlighting the significance of this gathering in recognising excellence within the legal community. Daniella Ponce Rázuri, legal and compliance director at Prosegur Peru, took the stage next. She addressed the profound issues that general counsel confront amidst an ever-changing landscape. Furthermore, Daniella underscored the importance of The Legal 500 recognition in Peru, emphasising how it serves as both a tribute to accomplishments and a guiding light for aspiring legal professionals in the country.

This gathering was a resounding success. As we bid farewell to this memorable evening, we eagerly anticipate our next rendezvous in Peru.
