On June 28th, The Legal 500, in partnership with PLMJ, unveiled the second edition of the GC Powerlist: Portugal 2024. The eagerly awaited event took place at PLMJ’s Lisbon office, gathering the most prominent and successful in-house lawyers in Portugal to celebrate this notable achievement.
The evening commenced with a warm welcome from Francisco Castro, the editorial lead for the GC Powerlist: Portugal at The Legal 500. His opening address set an enthusiastic tone for the event, emphasising the publication’s importance in recognising the most outstanding in-house lawyers in the country. He detailed the rigorous selection process and commended the recipients for their significant contributions to the legal field. He also highlighted the special inclusion of the second-ever Hall of Fame category in a GC Powerlist series issue, honouring a select group of the most distinguished corporate lawyers who have made a lasting impact over the past two decades.
Following Francisco’s introduction, Bruno Ferreira, the managing partner of PLMJ, took the stage to extend heartfelt congratulations to those selected for the GC Powerlist: Portugal 2024.
