On May 30, The Legal 500, in partnership with Kılınç Law & Consulting, hosted the highly anticipated launch event for the GC Powerlist: Türkiye 2024. Held at the Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus on a warm and sunny evening in Istanbul, this edition marked a significant milestone with the introduction of the Hall of Fame section. This prestigious recognition within the publication honours the most accomplished and esteemed corporate lawyers in each jurisdiction, particularly those who have made a profound impact through their long-standing commitment and invaluable contribution to the local in-house community over the past two decades.

The event attracted over 250 attendees, including the most influential in-house lawyers in the country, top legal minds, and industry leaders. It created a strong environment for networking and mutual celebration of the honourees’ successes. The gathering was not only a recognition of individual excellence but also a testament to the critical role that in-house legal counsel play in the broader business landscape.

Several brief speeches highlighted the significance and achievements of those included in the publication. Barış Agun, The Legal 500’s business development manager for Türkiye, delivered the welcome address, congratulating all the GCs included and underscoring their growing indispensability to businesses. Following Barış’ introduction, Levent Kılınç, founding partner of Kılınç Law & Consulting, extended heartfelt congratulations to the featured individuals.
