In the heart of the charming city of Montevideo, just steps away from the historic Plaza Independencia, The Legal 500, in partnership with Guyer & Regules, came together to honour and celebrate the outstanding achievements of Uruguay’s top in-house counsel.

Stepping onto the stage, Ana Inés Maranges, Director of Marketing, Communication, and Business Development, warmly welcomed all the attendees, setting the stage for the evening’s festivities.

Following Ana Inés’ opening remarks, Nicolás Piaggio, Managing Partner at Guyer & Regules, addressed the audience, emphasising the significance of gatherings like this and the importance of unity within the legal community. He highlighted the key partnership between Guyer & Regules and The Legal 500 and extended congratulations to the exceptional legal talent in the room.

Sara Maggi, Deputy Editor for The Legal 500 GC Powerlist Series, took the stage next. She shared insights into the global development of the GC Powerlist, shedding light on the meticulous research methodology. Sara underscored the invaluable collaboration with Guyer & Regules, which was instrumental in bringing this event to life.
