We’ve seen a big shift in attitudes towards corporate purpose and sustainability/ESG issues. There is a wider acceptance that how an organisation deals with environmental, social and governance issues is now central to corporate competitiveness and a company’s continued ability to operate. During this roundtable, discussions focused on the role of GCs in helping their organisations manage ESG and the challenges they are encountering, changing societal and investor expectations and what these mean for companies, and engaging with the management team and the board on ESG.
