Event Report

On 2 August 2022, The Legal 500 brought together some of Medellín’s top in-house legal talent from some of the city’s most prestigious companies for a GC Elite Dinner. 

The dinner was an occasion to discuss topics such as the role of GC, ESG, and the future of in-house legal departments in a city in constant growth which attracts investments from all over the world. It was particularly interesting to hear how corporate legal departments help their companies reduce their carbon footprint and contribute to keeping the city clean and green.

The evening continued with a passionate discussion on diversity and inclusion. Guests discussed the advantages for business of creating diverse teams and shared their experience in creating programmes to educate and support their departments on D&I issues.
