Maren Albertsdóttir is an attorney at law, licensed to practice before the district courts. She holds an LL.M. degree in international commercial arbitration from Stockholm University. Maren has an extensive expertise in administrative law and related areas of law. She was a special legal assistant to the Althingi Ombudsman (the Parliamentary Ombudsman of Iceland) and Director General of the Ombudsman’s office. She has been a lecturer in administrative law at the University of Iceland since 2014. Maren worked at LOGOS between 2008-2012 and joined the office again in 2022.

Maren graduated with a Master‘s degree in Law from the University of Iceland in 2010. She received her LL.M. degree in International Commercial Arbitration from Stockholm University in 2017.
