Dr. Jan-Martin Zimmermann studied law in Kiel. After his first state examination, Dr. Zimmermann continued working at the faculty of law at the Christian Albrecht University while undertaking his doctorate and legal traineeship at the same time. From 1989 to 1992 he was employed at a Construction Law-oriented law firm based in Kiel. Dr. Zimmermann was admitted to the bar in 1992 and joined our law firm in 1993 as a partner. In 2006, Dr. Zimmermann was appointed as notary and became a specialist lawyer in Construction Law and Law for Architects. In addition to his activities as notary, Dr. Zimmermann works in particular as counsel for medium-sized construction companies and provides advisory services for regional and superregional major construction sites, e.g. in Stuttgart or Berlin.
