Career

Prior to SK&S, Mr. Pawlisz worked as a senior attorney for EVIP Law Firm in Warsaw and, subsequently, as Chief Legal Adviser to the management board of Bank Pocztowy S.A. Between 1995 and 1998, he managed a law firm cooperating with Coopers & Lybrand as Practice Area Leader in charge of client services, personnel recruitment and practice management. Following Coopers & Lybrand's merger with PriceWaterhouse, he became partner in the combined legal offices of PricewaterhouseCoopers (currently: Wierzbowski Eversheds), responsible for the firm's finance, banking, trade in securities and mergers and acquisitions practice. In his legal practice he has advised on many privatizations and restructurings, as well as M&A transactions in various sectors of the Polish economy. He advised several renowned international banks, financial institutions, private and public companies in negotiations regarding take-overs, mergers, share acquisitions and project financing transactions. He has advised both domestic and foreign firms on investment projects and capital market instruments and on private equity/venture capital fund transactions.He has been a Partner at SK&S since 2000.

Position

Senior Partner at Sołtysiński Kawecki & Szlęzak. In his practice he combines a comprehensive knowledge of commercial and securities law with his knowledge of accounting and financial issues.

Education

Krzysztof Pawlisz graduated with a law degree from University of Toruń in 1988.
