Also specializes in international arbitration. Provides advice to clients on industrial property rights, including in disputes concerning unfair competition. In the field of advertising, she advises on organization of games and promotions. As a member of the Global Advertising Lawyers Alliance, she provides consultancy services as part of global promotional and advertising campaigns. Advises clients on global management of rights to trademarks. Has experience in food law, in particular in disputes concerning nutrition and health claims. A speaker at international conferences on industrial property law, advertisement law, and pharmaceutical law. Combines her practice at SK&S with academia – she heads the Department of Intellectual Property Law at the Koźmiński University in Warsaw. The author of a range of publications, including academic textbooks, on EU law, private international law, and industrial property law.

Education
She graduated with a law degree from the M. Skłodowska-Curie University in Lublin in 1979, receiving her doctorate in international private law from the same school in 1987, she was awarded her post-doctorate degree (habilitation) in 2013. Mrs. Skrzydło-Tefelska studied for several years in France and maintains contacts with universities in Paris, Lorraine, lecturing at these institutions and making regular contributions to French legal periodicals and scientific publications. She has also studied in the United States and at the Hague Academy of International Law.
