Career

Tomás Timbane has a standout litigation and international arbitration practice and advises on PPPs and commercial issues relating to energy, oil and gas, electricity and mining. He also has extensive experience in banking, finance, and insurance law.

Tomás Timbane advises high-profile clients, especially banks, state-owned enterprises, and conglomerates, on complex cross-border issues, foreign investment, public-private partnerships, and multijurisdictional matters.

Tomás is a partner at TTA – Sociedade de Advogados has been a PLMJ international partner since 2011.

Tomás was the Mozambican Bar Association President between May 2013 and May 2016. He took part in numerous commissions to review legislation and is the author of books and dozens of articles published in specialized reviews and magazines.
