Position

Parnter. Rødland is the Head of our office in Stavanger. He has extensive experience in advising national and international companies and government and regulatory authorities within the energy sector, especially oil and gas. He advises particularly on matters relating to M&A transactions, company law, commercial contract law and regulatory matters in the upstream oil and gas supply chain, including dispute resolution.

Since 2001, Rødland has assisted in the sale of shareholdings and business enterprises, and acted as the primary advisor on many of the largest and most complex transactions on the Norwegian continental shelf. He has assisted companies such as Edison, Hess, E.ON and Marathon with the sale of their Norwegian operations, and with a wide range of acquisition projects.

Rødland is passionate about his clients’ interests and knows the sector well. Through his combination of experience, curiosity and interest, he has gained a deep understanding of the economic and technical aspects, in addition to the legal and regulatory side. This has made him a highly valued strategic advisor for his clients.
