Position

Partner. Rogstad advises clients on matters relating to company law, transactions and employment law. In recent years, he has acted as legal advisor to several of the largest transactions and restructuring processes in Central Norway. His clients are mainly industrial entities, large and small power companies, the aquaculture and transport sectors, and private equity firms, which he helps to acquire and divest companies and complete capital market transactions. He also assists with securities trading and company law issues.

He is deputy chair of the Dispute Resolution Board under the Norwegian Working Environment Act and regularly advises private companies, public bodies and publicly owned companies on employment law questions. He is also an important authority in the field of employment law. He works on a wide range of employment law issues relating to downsizing processes. He advises on rights and obligations in employment relationships, individual termination of employment and summary dismissal cases, whistleblowing cases, business transfers, suspension cases and individual employment disputes. He also undertakes fact-finding and internal inquiry assignments.

Rogstad works closely with his clients and plays a key role in difficult negotiations. He is much used by his clients as a strategic advisor.
