Partner. Omdahl works with major Norwegian and international clients on energy-related projects and transactions. With specialist expertise in the areas of petroleum law, contract law and product sales agreements, transport law, company law and international negotiations, he is a sought-after advisor for industrial projects at home and abroad. He also works on financial issues relating to the petroleum sectors and matters relating to financial default.

Omdahl has acted as legal advisor on numerous large-scale onshore and offshore projects, including Alvheim, Aasgard, Snøhvit, Mongstad, Kårstø and Dunkirk. He has also assisted on several pipeline projects, such as the establishment of the Vesterled gas pipeline to the UK. In recent years, he has advised on the development of major oil fields, such as Edvard Grieg, Gina Krog and Skarv. He frequently assists with licensing and share transactions involving Norwegian and international energy companies.

Omdahl has worked closely with the managements and boards of various companies for over 20 years, which has given him a wealth of commercial, technical and operational insights, in addition to his legal expertise. This makes him a highly valued strategic advisor for his clients, who also appreciate his clear and precise advice.
