Tiago Mendonça de Castro co-heads the Real Estate practice and his experience of over 25 years is focused in the structuring of real estate investments in Portugal, real estate transactions, development of retail schemes and large scale real estate projects and investments, particularly for commercial, housing and industrial purposes, mostly for multinational companies, banks, institutional investors and family offices. He has handled some of the most important real estate projects carried out in Portugal, particularly in the commercial sector. Tiago specialises in implementing corporate real estate operations, and in retail and commercial licensing. Over the years, he has been invited to give presentations on specific real estate investment law issues in Portugal. Tiago takes part in debates and gives interviews, and he is regular speaker at Portuguese and international events organised by professionals in the real estate industry. He also contributes regularly with opinion articles on real estate investment law in Portugal. Tiago Mendonça de Castro is recognized for work in real estate law by Best Lawyers, Chambers Europe and Legal 500.
