Career

Ana Sofia Batista is a Partner having joined Abreu Advogados in 1996. She works primarily on business restructuring operations and acquisitions, as they relate to corporate structures, contracts and financing.

Her practice focuses particularly on matters related to acquisitions, mergers, spin-offs, liquidity inflows or share swaps, and specifically in M&A, private equity transactions and project finance transactions.

She has also been involved in investment operations in Mozambique, providing legal advise and liaising with local lawyers within Abreu Advogados' international network.

She has extensive experience in advising on transactions is the health, transport, food and finance sectors, as well as on corporate housekeeping for national and multinational companies in various sectors of the economy.

She has also lectured in areas connected with corporate and finance law in universities, professional organisations and seminars.
