Mafalda Teixeira de Abreu is a Professional Partner and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2001, working primarily in the area of public law, focusing on project finance and public tenders.In terms of project finance, she has participated in the privatisation of several strategic Portuguese companies and has also consulted public-private partnerships in the transport and health sectors.

She advises on public-private partnerships and concession contracts in Portugal and Portuguese-speaking countries, by networking with Abreu International Legal Solutions service in the countries concerned.  She has also assisted clients in matters relating to investment contracts and financial incentives under EU funds.

Mafalda Teixeira de Abreu has experience in assisting and advising clients through the maze of public tender procedures, and constantly changing regulations, from the perspective of both contracting authorities and economic operators.

She also has considerable experience in administrative litigation, with special focus on pre-contractual litigation.

From 2007 to 2008 she worked as a Foreign Lawyer with the London law firm, Clyde & Co.
