Sofia Silva e Sousa is a Professional Partner and has been with Abreu Advogados since 2013, working primarily in the areas of employment law, social Security and sports law.

She has focused particularly on advising on labour regulation matters and providing human resources advice to national and multinational companies in a wide range of areas, including labour relations, hiring, senior management, working conditions, remuneration systems, secondments, collective bargaining, restructuring, employment termination procedures, collective dismissals and lay-offs, disciplinary procedures, outsourcing, relationships with worker committee representatives, labour due diligences that include a risk analysis and quantify contingencies, employee loans, litigation and Social Security. She also has relevant experience in advising on matters related to sports labour law, having done significant work in this area.
