Micaela Afonso is a Professional Partner and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2009, working primarily litigation in its different domains, specifically in the areas of commercial, corporate, employment, and insolvency law and civil law in which she focuses primarily on contract law.

She has also participated in corporate restructuring processes as they relate to corporate, commercial, civil and employment law including insolvency and pre-insolvency situations.

Additionally, she has extensive experience on advising companies in the area of employment law on matters relating to hiring, termination of employment contract (termination proceedings due to subjective and objective causes), transfer of establishment and collective hiring.
