Professional Partner

Gonçalo Delicado is a Professional Partner and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2013, working mainly in corporate litigation, civil litigation, insolvency and business recovery proceedings, and labour law.

He advises and consults with clients on corporate and group restructuring exercises throughout the negotiation and operational restructuring phases and negotiates and drafts contracts. He has considerable experience in transactions in the banking, financial, real estate and energy sectors.

In the area of litigation, he has been involved in legal proceedings related to corporate restructuring, debt recovery, and various issues involving civil, corporate and transport law, having advised clients in all stages of the proceedings.

He also has extensive experience in labour law, and advises client when hiring employees, on human resources management, disciplinary procedure and labour litigation. He participates in human resources restructuring processes, employment termination cases, job redundancies and disciplinary procedures.

He is also involved in transactions and operations in Mozambique, advising and providing support by networking with lawyers participating in Abreu Advogados' international network.
