Career

Julien has been a partner in the firm since 2014 and a member the Transport & Logistics and Litigation & Arbitration departments of the firm.​

In particular, he assists French and international clients in drafting and negotiating contracts (IT, purchasing, sales, logistics, etc.), as well as in the amicable or contentious resolution of their disputes. ​

He advises manufacturers and service providers on regulatory matters, especially within the fields of export controls and transportation.​

In 2024, Julien was referenced by Chambers Europe and Décideurs and by Option Droit & Affaire in international arbitration in 2022.

Personal

From 2005 to 2011, Julien was a judge and Chamber President at the Commercial Court of Marseille. He was in charge of specialised litigation of maritime transport and anti-competitive practices.​ Prior to working in a private practice, he worked as a corporate lawyer and then as a legal director for the Schlumberger and Thales groups.​ Julien’s background of risk management is rooted in his practice, after having created and then held the position of Insurance Risk Manager within the Gemplus (Thales) group.
