Career

Shane Daly, Counsel, is a member of the International Arbitration team.

He advises clients, individual and corporate clients as well as sovereign States and State entities, in relation to commercial arbitration and investment arbitration matters. He acts as a counsel in large-scale and complex arbitration proceedings under a variety of arbitration rules (including ICC, LCIA, PCA, ICSID, and UNCITRAL) and arbitration-related litigations.

Shane has particular experience in arbitrations involving States and State-owned entities.

He has wide experience in a variety of economic sectors and industries. He is particularly active in sectors such as energy, oil and gas, construction, telecommunications, tourism, civil aviation or the mining sector involving clients in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Education

Shane Daly is a graduate of University College London (UCL) (LL.M, 2010), the National University of Ireland (NUI), Galway (LL.B, 2008; B. Corporate Law - International, 2007) and the University of Poitiers (Diploma in French Law, 2006).
