Career

Giulia Carbone, Counsel, is a member of International Arbitration team. She acts as counsel in large-scale and complex commercial and investment arbitrations under a variety of arbitration rules (ICC, LCIA, DIAC, UNCITRAL, ICSID), in which she represents corporations and foreign States.

She has developed a strong experience in disputes relating to sectors such as energy, public services, construction, healthcare, telecommunications and defence involving clients in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Giulia is regularly appointed as arbitrator in international commercial arbitrations under the LCIA, ICC and Milan Chamber of Commerce Rules, where she sits as chairman, sole or co-arbitrator.

Admitted to the bar of Reggio Calabria, Italy in 2009, the England bar and the Wales bar in 2013, and to the Paris bar as an EU Lawyer in 2015

Education

Giulia is a graduate of the University of Cambridge, Trinity College (LL.M. in International Law, 2011), and the Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, Milan (J.D. International Business Law, 2006; LLB in Law, 2004).
