Position

Guido mainly deals with EU Law, with a specific focus on EU and national competition law. His practice includes State aids, Foreign Subsidies, Internal Market, public procurement and concessions, environmental and consumer law, as well as EU sectorial regulations concerning inter alia media, electronic communications, energy and transport, as well as EU international sanctions regime. In the aforementioned sectors, Guido advised several companies on EU and national matters, also representing them in connection with proceedings before the EU Commission (regarding cartels, abuse of dominance and merger control), in judicial proceedings before the Court of Justice and the General Court of the EU, as well as – at the national level – before ordinary and administrative courts and the independent regulatory authorities (namely Autorità Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato, Autorità per le Garanzie nelle Comunicazioni).

Career

Guido Bellitti joined the Firm in 2020 as a Partner and became Of Counsel in 2024. Previously, he worked for leading law Firms specialized in European Law.

Chiomenti supports domestic and international clients in proceedings before the Italian Competition Authority and the EU Commission over abuse of dominant position issues and merger notifications. The firm is also well-versed in State aid proceedings and has a particular niche in the automotive and electronic communications sectors. Split between Milan and Rome, the team includes Cristoforo Osti, an expert in State aid. Guido Bellitti advises on internal market and public procurement issues, whilst Patrick Actis Perinetto focuses on the pharma and medtech sectors.
