Position

He advises Italian and international clients in complex extraordinary transactions with a focus on deals involving regulated entities and regulated sectors, as well as listed companies and private equity funds.  He has been appointed together with Gregorio Consoli as Managing Partner for the three-year period 2021-2023.

Filippo has developed an unparalleled know-how in managing major cross-border M&A transactions both inbound and outbound the Italian market, assisting purchasers, sellers, majority and minority shareholders, financing banks, financial advisors, and liaising with competent Authorities, entrepreneurs, boards of directors and leadership teams of different institutions, listed companies and private equity funds.

Since 2002, Filippo Modulo assisted clients in more than 140 transactions for a value exceeding 280 billion Euro.

Career

Filippo Modulo joined the Firm in 1997 and became a Partner in 2005. He has been the Managing Partner of the Firm since 2015.

Chiomenti‘s public and private M&A practice is consistently involved in the Italian market’s largest deals.
