Position
Benedetto La Russa advises clients on banking, finance, structured finance, and debt capital markets. He regularly advises Italian and international banks, financial companies, and investment funds on matters concerning securitisation and asset finance for both performing and distressed assets. Since 2009, he has been advising clients on the main issuance programmes for structured covered notes in Italy.
In the debt capital market sector, he has advised clients on hybrid, high yield, equity-linked, and exchangeable notes.
Career
Benedetto La Russa joined the Firm in 2005; he became Partner in 2021. In 2006 he was a secondee at the Department of Fixed Income – Securitised Product Group of Morgan Stanley, London. In 2010 he completed Secondment at the Legal Department of Barclays Bank PLC, London.
