Salvo Arena is one of the leading members of Chiomenti’s M&A practice and Head of the New York office. With over twenty years of experience advising clients on leveraged buyouts and M&A transactions, Salvo is a trusted adviser for private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on their most critical transactions and other business initiatives. Salvo regularly represents private equity firms in their most complex transactions with experience spanning the entire range of M&A activity, including many significant leveraged buyouts, minority investments, complex carve-out transactions, joint ventures, and cross-border transactions. Salvo brings a valuable global perspective to a dealmaking landscape that is increasingly cross-border in nature. Salvo has also a broad-based transactional practice with an emphasis on clients in the sports industry, including teams, leagues and owners, media companies, private investment funds, and financial institutions, and he is considered one of the leading lawyers in such field.

Career

Salvo Arena joined the Firm in 2006 and became a Partner in 2008, after having worked with Shearman & Sterling for 3 years in New York. Since 2024, Head of the International Practice and Co-Head of the "Private Equity" Practice Area.
