Career

Gerald Virieux started his legal career in the year 2000. After working as in-house counsel, Gerald trained for, and passed the Geneva bar in 2004, and he has been practicing as an attorney ever since. He currently heads the Dispute Resolution Team of VISCHER's Geneva office. Gerald represents Swiss and foreign clients before state courts and arbitral tribunals in connection with commercial disputes. His practice focuses notably on disputes involving cross-border aspects, and on the recognition and enforcement of foreign court decisions and arbitral awards. Gerald's practice also includes employment disputes.

Gerald obtained his law degree from the University of Fribourg in 1999. He also holds a Master in Business Law from the University of Geneva (2002), and an LL.M in International Arbitration from the University of Miami School of Law (2011).
