Juan Carlos Hernanz is an expert in energy law, as external legal advisor of companies that produce, supply and distribute electricity and companies in the cogeneration and renewable energy sectors. He also advises on transactions to acquire energy companies and assets, and on litigation proceedings related to the energy sector and its regulations.

He lectures in the Master in Business Law (Public Procurement and Regulated Sectors Module) of the Barcelona Bar Association.

He regularly speaks at courses and training seminars organized by entities and institutions in the energy sector.
