Two Awards for DORDA at the Women in Business Law Europe Awards
After last year's great success with three awards, DORDA was able to continue its successful course in 2021 and won in two categories at the Women in Business Law Awards Europe.
DORDA was awarded "Austria - Firm of the Year" for its diverse programmes to support female lawyers and the relationship between female and male lawyers. The support of young female lawyers at all stages of their career, from joining the firm to the mentoring programme and the promotion of leadership skills, was honoured with the "Talent Management - National Firm".
During a virtual awards ceremony last Thursday, Legal Media Group announced the winners of this year's Women in Business Law Awards Europe. DORDA was nominated as a firm in a total of three categories: Work-Life Balance, Talent Management and Women in Business Law - Jurisdiction Award and was also successful in the latter two against law firms from across Europe.
In addition to the firm-wide nominations, Managing Partner Francine Brogyányi was nominated as "Life Sciences Lawyer of the Year", Partner Magdalena Brandstetter as "Real Estate Lawyer of the Year" und Attorney Magdalena Nitsche as "Restructuring & Insolvency Lawyer of the Year". At the Rising Star Awards Alexandra Ciarnau was delighted to receive a nomination in the field of IP.
After last year's great success with three awards, DORDA was able to continue its successful course in 2021 by winning in two categories at the Women in Business Law Awards Europe.
"The fact that DORDA once again received two awards, including Austrian Law Firm of the Year for Women, confirms our diverse approaches within the framework of the women@DORDA programme. However, the awards are above all an important sign that diversity is a lived value at our firm," says Francine Brogyányi. "In addition, the nomination of three female lawyers and the award as the European law firm with the best talent management show that we train female lawyers at a top European level and then consistently promote them. Of course, we are particularly pleased about this and it encourages us in our efforts to continue to develop women@DORDA until we have achieved equality in numbers at all levels at DORDA."
DORDA female lawyers also spoke about their experiences, thoughts and future prospects in the legal industry on the occasion of the last International Women's Day in the DORDA-Podcast "Clarity Talk on Air".
