Position

Focus on IP & life sciences dispute resolution and transactions as well as regulatory and commercialisation advice.

Partner Juli Mansnérus heads Dittmar & Indrenius' Life Sciences & Healthcare practice area. She has vast international education and experience in all types of IPR/technology litigations and transactions with a special expertise in patents, trade secrets, pharmaceutical law and health technology. As a dual-qualified lawyer, she has practiced law in Finland and Sweden and is admitted to the Finnish Bar. She has earned Doctor of Laws degree in the fields of intellectual property law and pharmaceutical law. She advises clients with both non-contentious and contentious assignments across a wide range of industries. Her experience covers extensive work with high value pan-European litigations relating to pharmaceuticals, medical devices and other technology-intensive sectors, such as telecom. She also advises life sciences clients on strategic and regulatory issues ranging from R&D, commercialisation and market access questions to pharmaceutical marketing.

Career

Prior to joining D&I, Juli Mansnérus worked at Hannes Snellman Attorneys. Since 2016, she has also conducted post-doctoral research and been teaching in a number of courses in intellectual property law, consumer law, medical and biolaw, as well as European internal market law at the Faculty of Law, University of Helsinki.

Juli Mansnérus is Vice Chairman of the Finnish Copyright Council and a member of Young Academy Finland. Besides her law degrees, she holds a Master of Sciences Degree in Translational Medicine (with Distinction) from the University of Edinburgh, which provides additional insight in meeting the needs of life sciences, pharmaceutical, and health technology companies.
