Attorney - Partner

Marieke joined Dirkzwager in 1999 as a lawyer and is an (associate) partner in the Health Law department.  She is co-heading the Healthcare practice of Dirkzwager.  Marieke works for a wide range of healthcare institutions, such as (university) hospitals, independent treatment centers, mental health institutions, care institutions for the disabled, nursing and home care institutions. Within these organizations she assists Boards of Directors and Supervisory Boards with advice about legal entity law and governance issues. Her activities include advising on the legal form and the structure of partnerships and supervising mergers and acquisitions in the healthcare sector, supervising restructurings, advising on the organizational and governance structure, (complex) governance issues and on employee participation structures of healthcare institutions and drafting and assessing agreements for healthcare institutions.
