Luuk joined Dirkzwager as a lawyer in 2006 and is a partner in the Health Law department. He has been promoted (PhD) in research on: Does the Dutch legislation offer adequate legal protection for psychogeriatric patients when they are being restrained? Luuk is specialized in mental health care, care for the elderly, care for the mentally handicapped, youth care, primary care and privacy issues. He is also well acquainted with new legislation in health care, such as Wkkgz, Wmo 2015, Wlz, Youth Act, Wvggz and Wzd.  He works for mental health care institutions, elderly care institutions, institutions for the mentally handicapped, hospitals, general practitioners, care groups, sector organizations and individual care providers. Within these organizations he assists boards of directors, care managers and care providers with advice and procedures.
