Bertrand Potot is one of the co-founders of DS Avocats and has been a member of its board for many years. From early on, he involved the firm in the new economy by advising major players in the telecoms, new technologies and publicity sectors.

He has built a high-profile practice in commercial litigation, where he regularly advises the largest French groups in the energy, telecoms and media sectors on preparing, drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts.

Furthermore, Bertrand has extensive experience in intellectual property law, and regularly advises on trademark disputes and all issues related to database protection. In addition, Bertrand has set up at DS Avocats one of the first platforms dedicated to managing clients’ trademark portfolios and domain names.

His expertise in the trademark and advertising sector has also enabled him to develop a renowned practice in sports sponsorship, where he advises, notably, on large-scale sporting events such as the Olympic Games and the Football World Cup.
