Position

Partner Magali Buchert specialises in tax law. She draws on recognised expertise in transaction tax (private and public mergers and acquisitions, complex restructurings, private equity operations). She also advises companies during tax audits and disputes, as well as on incentive schemes for their managers. Magali has also acquired specific expertise as regards the taxation of non-profit organisations.

Magali has recently advised MSC for the acquisition of Bolloré logistics activities in Africa (2022), Antin in the course of its IPO (2021), Saint Gobain for the acquisition of Chryso (2021), Wendell as an investor alongside the Deconinck family in Tarkett (2021), Petrofrance for the sale of Tepsa to Rubis Terminal (2020),  the management of Cérélia on its acquisition by Ardian (2020), Evolem on the acquisition of April by CVC (2019), LVMH on the acquisition of Château d'Esclans (2019), Fnac Darty on the acquisition of a stake in Nature & Découvertes (2019), Fnac Darty for its partnership with CTS Eventim (2019), Eurazeo on the acquisition of group Albingia (2018) and Grupo Planeta on the sale of Editis to Vivendi (2018).
