Szymon Chwaliński specialises in Polish and European competition law and consumer law, as well as commercial contracts. He advises on issues related to the application of competition law in various sectors, including retail, telecommunications and media, environmental protection, energy and financial services. He also supports clients in public aid issues.

He is an associate at Gide Loyrette Nouel since 2007. He was admitted to the Warsaw Bar of Legal Advisors in 2013. Previously, he was an associate at the Polish Competition Authority (2004-2007).

He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Warsaw University. He then completed a Diploma Course in English and European Law organised jointly by Warsaw University and the University of Cambridge. He also attended exchange program with the University of Bonn.
