She is an attorney with the Spanish Council of State Corps (top of 1998 class), holds a Degree in Law (1994) and in Business Administration and Management (1995) from ICADE, E-3 (Madrid). She served as a Legal Clerk at the Court of Justice of the European Union from 2007 to 2012, in the cabinets of General Advocates Dámaso Ruiz-Jarabo Colomer and Pedro Cruz Villalón.

She is a Professor of EU law at the Institute d’Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po Paris), member of the Legal Committee of the General Council of Spanish Bar Associations (Consejo General de la Abogacía Española) and the Appeals Board for the European Institute for Security Studies.
