Álvaro holds a law degree from the University of Santiago de Compostela and the Salzburg Universität. He studied at the Academy of American and International Law, Southwestern Institute for International and Comparative Law, Dallas, Texas. 

He specialises in commercial law, M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions and joint ventures, both domestic and cross-border. He has extensive experience advising start-ups (ongoing advice on strategic issues), venture capital and investors, having participated in some of the most relevant transactions in the entrepreneurial scene.
